LE CLOS LIEBAU, in Ribeauville
The Clos Liebau
Located in the heart of the Ribeauvillé vineyards, just 25 minutes from Colmar, Clos Liebau is an Alsatian wine estate producing natural wines. Sébastien cultivates the vines on approximately 3.5 hectares with a respectful approach to nature, inspired by organic farming, biodynamics, agroforestry, and syntropy.
Trees, hedges, and animals coexist in the rows of vines. The work is done without chemicals, with great attention to biodiversity.
The winemaking is artisanal, in a natural spirit: old wooden press, spontaneous fermentation, little or no sulfites.
In the cellar, Riesling, Sylvaner and other Alsatian grape varieties are available in white, red, orange and sparkling wines, ranging from French wine to Alsace wine, from convivial wine to gastronomic wine.
Clos Liebau is a place of sharing. We welcome you for tastings by appointment, where you can discover the winemaker's philosophy and the ecological commitment that drives each bottle.
For total immersion, take advantage of our wine tourism offers and stay in our gîte in the heart of the vineyard. Come and experience the rhythm of Alsatian nature and understand why Clos Liebau is a benchmark for lovers of natural wines and authenticity in the Colmar region.

We will start in our vineyards, where I will explain our approach to working close to nature.
We will then get to the heart of the matter with two commented tastings to uncover the mysteries of our vintages.
A quick tour of the cellar will allow you to visualize our winemaking methods.
With all this in mind, we will end up tasting one last wine.

Discover the secrets of our vineyard!
We will begin the tour in the heart of our vineyards, where I will present our philosophy of working in harmony with nature and the balance of the terroir. You will discover how we cultivate the vines in harmony with their environment to create authentic and vibrant wines.
We will continue with two guided tastings, an opportunity to explore together the aromas, texture, and personality of our natural wines. You will learn to recognize what makes our wines unique and the richness of our artisanal approach.
The visit will then continue to the winery, where you can observe our winemaking methods and understand each step of the transformation of grapes into wine.
Finally, we will conclude this moment of sharing with a final drink, in order to fully savor the spirit of the estate and the passion that drives us.
You will then take a seat in our reception room to enjoy a mixed platter of cheeses and charcuterie, carefully selected by us.
To accompany it, you can choose either two tasting glasses or a glass of wine from our selection.

Something is brewing in Ribeauvillé…
For the past few weeks, things have been busy at Clos Liebau: work, renovations and a lot of thinking to welcome you soon to a new place of conviviality.
We are preparing a warm space around wine, sharing and gourmet food, in the spirit of our Alsatian wines, in the heart of Ribeauvillé.

We are delighted to announce our participation in the 7th edition of the Brut(es) trade fair , the unmissable event for natural wines ! It's the perfect opportunity to meet up with you, share a friendly moment, and introduce (or reintroduce) you to the fruits of our labor.

- Location: Motoco , the magnificent former DMC industrial site in Mulhouse.
This historically rich location offers a unique industrial and artistic setting for this event. We will be alongside 90 other passionate winemakers , ready to take you on a journey through their terroirs.
Brut(es): More than just natural wine!
The Brut(es) Salon is known for its rigorous selection of natural, organic and biodynamic wines , but the offering doesn't stop there!
This year again, the event will be an opportunity to explore other artisanal gems. You will also find sake , and more.Craft beer and cider . It's a true moment of sharing and discovery centered around taste and artisanal know-how.
